I am a tree enthusiast and arborist with a desire to provide quality and pragmatic tree advice. I have worked hard over the last 15 years to build on my knowledge of trees, the landscape and construction methods so that I can help achieve a key aim of construction projects – a sustainable co-existence between the built environment and the natural one.

I worked as a photographer in my early life and it was the urban and natural landscape that inspired me to change career so I could work in the environment at a deeper level. Since re-training, in 2002, I have worked as a woodland volunteer, landscaper, tree surgeon, private consultant, council tree officer and now, independent tree consultant.

I work with private homeowners, small and large scale developers, schools, architects, planning and environmental consultancies, utility companies, parish councils and other Government organisations. I also have associate working relationships with other tree consultants so if workloads are high I may still be able to meet your survey needs by calling on help that I trust and value.

I aim to bring my knowledge of realistic construction requirements and trees to your development so that your project can proceed without tree related delays.
